Clare joined Morrissey Law in early 2019, bringing previous experience from national and international firms.

With a special interest in infrastructure, renewables, and environmental science, Clare has amassed considerable experience in procurement, design, construction, operation, and maintenance contracts across a range of jurisdictions.

Clare has experience in negotiating contracts for ship loading and berth replacement, wharf extension, and port terminal development, and has also assisted in the final stages of a freight hub procurement suite.

  • Advising on and negotiating subcontracts for ship loading and berth replacement, and port terminal development.
  • Advising on and negotiating a range of bespoke demolition, remediation, decommissioning, and mixed waste removal contracts.
  • Advising on and negotiating Australian Standard and government procurement contracts for the development of schools, aged care facilities, affordable housing, and road resurfacing projects.
  • Drafting a supply and install agreement for a concrete batching plant; advising on claims under a supply and install agreement for a hospital back-up generator.
  • Advising on and negotiating suites of contracts for the construction and connection of wind farms in New South Wales, Western Australia, and Victoria.
  • Advising on regulatory requirements for the development of wind and solar farms.
  • Advising on and negotiating tripartite deeds.
  • Advising on and negotiating supply agreements for mine sites, as well as professional services agreement.
  • Preparing regulatory advice in relation to embedded networks, national electricity rules, solar infrastructure, pollution reporting obligations, and a major government litter reduction scheme.
